I have completely changed the way I manage my finances in the last 9 months. I used to track all of my assets on a spreadsheet, including public stocks, private investments, fund investments, real estate, cars, collectibles, etc. I promised myself that I would update the spreadsheet once per week, but it became really time-consuming so I probably did it only once per month.
