Post-quantum security is a hot topic in both the #Bitcoin and #Ethereum developer communities lately. Though Ethereum appears to be ahead in the race to adopt post-quantum secure cryptography, mounting protocol complexity and risk may ultimately slow developers when it comes time to implement these features in production. As the fable of the tortoise and the hare reminds us, initial speed and progress matter little. Finishing the race is what counts.
