KRISTI NOEM IMPEACHMENT: 120 LAWMAKERS SIGN ON—FULL LIST At least eight additional Democrats have signed on as co-sponsors to a resolution to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem after a federal agent shot and killed 37-year-old United States citizen Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Saturday. The effort to impeach Noem was first introduced by Democratic Representative Robin Kelly of Illinois after the January 7 killing of Renee Nicole Good, also a 37-year-old U.S. citizen, by an ICE agent in Minneapolis. With outrage growing toward ICE and DHS in the wake of the second killing of a U.S. citizen over the weekend, the effort from Democrats to impeach Noem has ramped up despite what many see as unlikely success in the Republican-controlled Congress.
