[149 Million Infostealer Records Exposed, Involving Some Binance User Accounts]
Odaily Planet Daily News: Security researcher Jeremiah Fowler disclosed a dataset of approximately 149 million records leaked by Infostealer (information-stealing malware), which includes around 420,000 login credentials related to Binance. The data originates from personal devices infected by malware and involves multiple platforms such as Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, and others. Security experts emphasized that this is not a breach of Binance's system but rather a result of user-end device infections. Binance stated it will monitor the dark web, notify affected users, and reset passwords, while also recommending users enable hardware-level multi-factor authentication (MFA), use antivirus software, and strengthen account security.
