Clawdbot is blowing up—my entire timeline is talking about it today. But before installing, make sure to calmly consider the security risks. I tested it out myself, and while it’s super impressive, it’s also pretty terrifying. My advice to everyone: do NOT install Clawdbot on any computer that handles wallets, stores private keys, or has important permissions. To achieve full automation, Clawdbot requires extensive permissions (including Shell access and file system read/write). Essentially, it opens a massive backdoor in your system. If the model misjudges something, accidentally installs malware, or falls victim to a prompt injection attack, your private keys, API keys, and even session tokens cached in your browser could be leaked instantly. There’s no “what if” when it comes to cybersecurity. If you want to try it out, make absolutely sure to run it in an isolated environment (like a VPS or dedicated development machine).
