I’ve spent some time reviewing the Pretti shooting in-depth. Here’s my honest takeaway. It appears the object in his hand was a phone. His gun was taken, but the officer who grabbed it did so quickly and ran away, which likely went unnoticed by the other officers. A shot goes off, someone then yells “gun,” tensions spike as he’s resisting arrest, and with a phone in his hand, officers react and shoot him. That’s how it looks to me. No sides taken. Just my assessment. Final thought: rioting and aggressive protests to defend criminals or illegal activity only escalate situations. That’s what ICE is there to address. If this behavior continues, things will get worse, and this likely won’t be the last death. Watching people have selective outrage makes me not care about their opinions. Onto the next one.(Hustler)
