Thank you @ mia_okx for inviting @ okx to this New Year's Eve dinner. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend due to family reasons.
I heard that @ star_okx talked about a lot of interesting things. I watched some excerpts from the text version and just saw some friends who went there. They filmed a video with text and watched it remotely
As an old leek, there are some things that I still feel the same way:
In the past, when the cryptocurrency industry was growing wildly, it was really a place where idealists/geeks mixed with speculators and fraudsters. Many people even entered the industry after not doing well in traditional industries.
Many big shots nowadays were not very successful in developing Web2 at that time, so they only started to enter Web3. Mu Mu and Lao Xu are both included. But it's easy to understand that in the early days of the cryptocurrency industry, there were both risks and opportunities. If you were successful in Web2, giving up on falling into Web3 would have a much higher opportunity cost than others.
But with the development of the industry, we can see more and more outstanding talents giving up high salaries to flow in (what impressed me deeply was seeing three Wall Street investment banking elites from @ ambergroup_io enter the circle for quantification), and the team members who work on projects are becoming more and more Ivy League and elite.
However, to be honest, elitism does not mean that everything is good. Most project teams, even if they are elites, still use the guise of improving the industry to issue coins and harvest profits, right? Why didn't you cheat the people's money? Let's all deceive and shut down the VCs, haha.
If we really want to de stigmatize the cryptocurrency industry, there must be some legitimate projects in the industry that have products and profits similar to the US stock market, and the profits can be used to feed back the tokens. These projects can make money for some knowledgeable diamond traders, no longer just copying air back and forth.
CZ said that memes are not very appealing in the long run, and Star has always despised memes. Do we just love to hype memes? It's not because there are too few altcoins worth investing in for the long term now.
If you don't stir fry the band, then eat shit. Since you want to stir fry the band, isn't the fluctuation of meme the highest?
All TM are forced.
It's already good to have a leader like Hype in this cycle, and I believe it will be even better if the cryptocurrency circle continues to iterate and revolutionize itself for two more cycles.
