Sharing thoughts on writing being like investing—really resonated with what Ni Xiong said. Back in early 2022, it was also thanks to Ni Xiong’s encouragement that I started writing and sharing on Twitter. It’s been four years now. Ni Xiong himself is a role model for all of us:
- Brutally honest, always speaks his mind without holding back.
- Incredibly energetic, sleeps only four hours a day, and spends most of his time writing, contributing deep insights for everyone.
- Warm-hearted and generous—not just to me, but to friends on X (Twitter). Whenever someone has a problem, he’s the first to step up and help.
- Always learning, constantly researching new things and sharing fresh perspectives.
These are all the qualities I see in Ni Xiong that make him such an outstanding individual.
This morning, while having breakfast, I was chatting with a friend about how creating content is, for me:
- A way to push myself to keep learning new things and stay sharp about the market.
- A process to organize my thoughts and ideas, and communicate with everyone.
- An opportunity to meet amazing friends on X (Twitter), exchange ideas, and broaden my own thinking and understanding.
All of this has brought me immense personal growth. Like I said at the beginning, writing is like investing—over the long term, it compounds. At its core, we’re all striving to become the best version of ourselves.
Ni Xiong mentioned Houda, who is none other than @StevenBayesian. Previously a partner at OKX Ventures, an excellent investor in the crypto space, and now deeply researching AI. It was through Houda’s introduction a long time ago that I got to know Ni Xiong. In a way, he’s also one of the people who inspired me to start writing and sharing on Twitter.
Thank you both—I’ve learned so much from you.
Let’s connect through words and grow through friendship.
