Thirteen May Be Copper's Unlucky Number -
Copper faces up-too-much risks at the start of 2026. If the metal doesn't revisit its five-year moving average at $10,166, it would be the first year since 2021. Copper dropped 14% in 2022. The front futures' high of $13,387 a ton on Jan. 6 may be nearing peak inklings, and the graphic highlights why: the steep premium to its mean and dependency on a rising stock market.
