According to a report by Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, Hong Kong police announced that a woman met a man on a social media platform and was lured into investing in cryptocurrency through a trading platform. Between August and December last year, she made multiple transfers, losing a total of approximately HK$21.4 million worth of cryptocurrency. Later, the victim was unable to withdraw her assets and suspected she had been scammed, so she reported it to the police. The case has been classified as "obtaining property by deception" and is being followed up by the Tseung Kwan O District Crime Squad. No arrests have been made so far. Police remind the public to beware of high-return investment scams and so-called "insider tips" on social media. https://www.(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=55615
