My personal take is that the essence of payment and receiving funds should be a transfer—just the flow of funds. This is the limitation of traditional payments. In other words, payment is just an action. Payment has nothing to do with taxes, wealth management, currency exchange, or even reconciliation. So payment is not a system, it's just an action. But with the transparency and programmability of cryptocurrency, payment can evolve from a simple action into a financial system. Payment becomes a link in the system. At the moment payment happens, it can actually integrate various financial capabilities like PayFi, DeFi, Staking, and Earn. It also provides records for insurance, taxes, and deductions, and can even directly convert cross-border currencies into the local currency of the receiving region.
