CZ: Global unified crypto regulation is challenging, a regulatory passport system might be a feasible path
CZ @cz_binance spoke today at the 2026 Davos Forum, stating that there are significant differences in global crypto regulations, and most countries have yet to establish comprehensive licensing systems.
He pointed out that countries like the UAE, Bahrain, and Kazakhstan are advancing forward-looking regulations, and the U.S. is also pushing for market structure bills. However, due to differences in capital controls and taxation across nations, a global unified regulatory body is hard to achieve. A regulatory passport system might be a more feasible solution.
@cz_binance mentioned that he is working with multiple countries to explore regulatory mechanisms that balance innovation and consistency.
