[Bessent: Not Worried About U.S. Treasury Sell-Off, Japanese Counterparts Will Act]
According to foreign media reports, U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent stated on Wednesday that he is not concerned about the sell-off of U.S. Treasuries. He linked the sell-off of U.S. Treasuries to fluctuations in Japanese government bonds, noting that he has maintained contact with Japanese counterparts and assured that they will take measures to stabilize the market. Denmark's position on U.S. Treasuries is insignificant, much like the country itself. He called on European allies to understand that Greenland needs to become part of the United States and expressed hope that they would sit tight and wait for President Trump to deliver his speech.
According to the schedule released by the World Economic Forum, Trump is set to deliver a public speech in Davos at 21:30 Beijing time. However, Bessent stated that President Trump will arrive in Davos approximately three hours late.
