Coincidentally, I recently conducted a systematic research and analysis on the company Anthropic @ claudeai, and the emotional resonance that arose in my heart can be summarized in just four words: I have to accept it. In the context of AI giants and rapidly changing market landscape, Anthropic has indeed embarked on an extremely sexy and independent path. 1) Claude is very good at capturing the minds of elite high cognitive groups. While Gemini collaborated with Apple through workshops to grab users through traffic portals, and OpenAI was still struggling with commercialization paths, Claude showed extreme restraint. Because in its strategy, it is not aimed at pleasing ordinary individual businesses, but precisely targeting the top 1 high cognitive groups such as research experts, top Devs, and high-level creators. So it only pursues two things: 1. Make the model as smart as possible, even if it's a bit expensive; 2. Use innovative paradigms such as Skills and Cowork to drive the trend, and Rocket will be the first to do so. This strategy of not focusing on traffic but focusing on quality is essentially building a brand moat of "intellectual premium". 2) Claude does not work on C-end tools and focuses on B2B business operations. From a data perspective, while competitors are still burning money to grab users, Anthropic has already announced a profit expectation of $70B ARR for 2028. Why are they so wild? Because their path is very clear. The C-end is a red ocean, a price sensitive battlefield that cannot compete with Google and OpenAI, but the B-end is all in the arms business. You see, big giants such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Nvidia are all competing to send funds and orders. It doesn't need to rely on advertising monetization and subscription revenue on the C-end, it's just enough to make money through enterprise level services such as targeting the Fortune 500. This cash cow logic is very resistant to attacks; 3) Claude has been reshaping AI interaction rules and leading the future workflow paradigm. This is very admirable. You may think that the engineering geek culture of Claude's team is very strong, as can be seen from the tone displayed by Claude Code, Skills, Cowork, and others. But at that time, when big models such as OpenAI were closed off and competing for computing power parameters, it jumped out to do MCP. While other vendors were still optimizing the quality of model output, its Skills, which relied on context management systems, had become popular worldwide, including the recently launched innovative ideas such as Cowork that treated AI as an employee. You will find that Claude has been leading the trend of AI interaction with one goal: how to seamlessly embed AI into complex human collaborative systems. The above. So when Anthropic went public for a trillion dollar IPO, it may seem magical and crazy, but if you look at its current position in the AI industry, it's not surprising at all.
