hear me out guys: one of our _top priorities_ over the next 2, 3 years must be breaking the EF's de facto control over the ecosystem. It's 2026 and the EF still exerts outsized influence over technical direction, funding, and legitimacy (and this fucking _not_ ok!). Ethereum _cannot_ meaningfully decentralise while depending on a single private foundation to set agendas and arbitrate outcomes (the EF still choses winners!), so we need a _clear path_ toward an ecosystem that can function & evolve without the EF as a central actor.
