OpenAI plans to launch its first product in 2026, which may be a wearable device that interacts with users Odaily Planet Daily News: OpenAI's policy director Chris Lehane stated at the Davos Forum on Monday that OpenAI is "expected" to launch its first product in the second half of 2026. Since the acquisition of former Apple design director Jony Ive's company in May last year, CEO Altman has repeatedly hinted at the launch of future artificial intelligence devices, but has not disclosed a specific timeline or product form. Multiple reports suggest that OpenAI is developing small devices without screens, possibly wearable devices, for interacting with users. Lehane refused to disclose any specific details, including whether it would be a button, headphones, or any other completely different form. Lehane listed "devices" as one of OpenAI's major highlights in 2026 and revealed to reporters that "there will be news announced before the end of the year". Although he did not promise to launch the device this year, he stated that OpenAI is "aiming to launch it in the second half of 2026". (Golden Ten)
