This is honestly a bit awkward... At first, everyone thought Gas Town was awesome, like the next Goat/Ai16z. Then the Founder came out and said, 'I want to focus on building and developing, so I won’t have much time to tweet and chat.' After hearing that, everyone just started dumping. It’s kind of ironic. Everyone says they want Builders to build, but when someone actually focuses on building and doesn’t engage, people start dumping. So, at its core, people are still treating GAS as a meme rather than an AI product. So here’s the question – is this round of AI tokens on Solana fundamentally different from last year’s Goat, Fartcoin, ai16Z, etc.? Or is it still just attention economy/memes wrapped in a layer of techno-optimism?
