The police also noted that the suspects possessed a sophisticated telecommunications network and electronic equipment, enabling them to carry out illegal activities from their residence in the Da Nang area. The group used Zalo and Telegram to create dozens of fake accounts, post fraudulent trading activities, impersonate investment experts to lure victims into investing, and falsely report profits. After embezzling the funds, the money was transferred through multiple bank accounts and eventually converted into cryptocurrency to conceal its origin.
