Trust Wallet: Compensation for the first batch of eligible claimants completed, application deadline is February 14

Foresight News reports that Trust Wallet has released an update on the security incident related to browser extension version v2.68 on the X platform. Trust Wallet stated that compensation for the first batch of eligible users has been completed, and the remaining claims are being reviewed and processed in batches. As of now, approximately 95% of claims for affected funds have been submitted, and users who have not yet submitted their claims must do so by February 14, 2026. Trust Wallet reminds users that wallets affected by this security incident should no longer be used. Users are advised to update to the latest version and immediately migrate their funds. Trust Wallet has launched a "Migrate assets" feature on both the browser extension and mobile app to assist with asset migration. The official statement emphasizes that if users continue to use compromised wallets after receiving notifications and incur losses, Trust Wallet will not provide compensation.
