Every month, I can casually claim some $ARB from @arbitrum, and I've accumulated a bit. After comparing it with others in the same space like @0xPolygon's $MATIC, $SUI, and $APTOS... I immediately realized that $ARB is pretty much useless. $MATIC has staking rewards, blue-chip ecosystem token airdrops, and high yields (burning all gas fees + staking + cross-chain fees, leading to millions in deflation). $SUI and $APTOS also have basic staking rewards + gas fee income... $ARB is purely a governance token. "Currently, almost 100% of Arbitrum's public chain revenue goes into the centralized governance Arbitrum DAO treasury." They're so rich, but there's no profit-sharing at all. From late 2025 to Q1 2026, this has been a hot topic, and projects like Tally are already pushing the liquid staking model. Before staking is introduced, $ARB's fundamentals are unlikely to see any major changes.
