Argentine crypto exchange Lemon has launched the country's first Bitcoin-backed Visa credit card. The card allows users to use Bitcoin as collateral to obtain a peso credit line without selling their crypto holdings. According to local media La Nación, users need to lock up 0.01 BTC (around $960) as collateral to get an initial credit line of 1 million pesos. Lemon plans to allow users to adjust collateral and credit limits in the future and support direct settlement of USD purchases with stablecoins like USDC or USDT.
