So these past few days, I’ve seen people mention something called 01 perps. I was like, why does this sound so familiar? Turns out I recommended it to you guys before. Actually, there are two similar projects: @01Exchange is the perps everyone’s been fomo-ing over recently. @o1_exchange is a meme trading product on Base/SOL. From the names alone, it’s like one’s the real deal and the other’s the knockoff—it’s super easy to mix them up. The former has funding from Multicoin Capital and SOL, though not a lot. But with the recent hype around perps, it’s gotten popular again. The latter has backing from Alliance and Coinbase, but since meme liquidity on Base is pretty weak, it’s been lukewarm all along. I suggest these two teams pick one and change the name. Otherwise, they’re just giving each other free clout.
