Analysts believe this surge was driven by multiple factors: the Fusaka upgrade implemented last December optimized on-chain data processing and reduced Layer 2 network callback costs, making interactions smoother and fees lower; market sentiment shifted from negative to neutral/positive since mid-December last year, attracting more retail users; increased interest in exploring DeFi, NFTs, and other applications at the end of the year, along with a surge in stablecoin payment and settlement activities on Ethereum, also contributed to actual financial demand.
