**[AlphaTON Expands Decentralized AI Network Cocoon Based on Telegram Through Collaboration with NVIDIA]**
According to The Block, Nasdaq-listed TON treasury company AlphaTON Capital has signed a $46 million computing infrastructure agreement to scale its chip capacity, aiming to expand the decentralized, Telegram-based Cocoon artificial intelligence network. The agreement will add 576 NVIDIA B300 chips to AlphaTON's assets, marking "the company's first large-scale deployment of confidential computing," further building on its existing $20 million in balance sheet assets. These chips are scheduled for delivery next February. AlphaTON has invested $4 million in cash to complete the transaction and secured funding for the remaining amount through $32.7 million in non-recourse closed-end debt financing and an additional $9.3 million in equity financing paid in small installments by March, when full deployment is expected.
Telegram's Cocoon is a decentralized AI computing platform developed by Telegram and based on the TON blockchain, serving as the core of AlphaTON's business model as a digital asset treasury. The company previously announced plans to deploy a batch of GPUs to Cocoon, "adding new revenue streams to its business."
