According to monitoring by Coinbob, the 'Former Hyperliquid Employee' (address starting with 0x7ae4) withdrew 249,999 USDC, leaving the contract account with a balance of 1,483,912 USDC. This address has been consistently shorting HYPE during the downturn, and on-chain tracking revealed its connection to the Hyperliquid team, drawing attention. However, the Hyperliquid team recently clarified that this address belongs to a former employee who was dismissed in 2024 and is no longer associated with Hyperliquid Labs.
