On CT, you need to pay extra attention to those bearish and skeptical voices.
It's always easier for permabulls to gain traction—calling for a pump is always more popular than calling for a dump. And almost every big V (influencer) you see has their own agenda: exchange owners, VC bosses, project founders, media, KOLs who rely on commissions and ads to survive—these people are naturally motivated to be bullish.
With this structural bias, bullish voices will always outnumber bearish ones. Of course, there are also some who go the other way and become permabears, but they are rare. And those who can publicly express their views long-term and still survive are usually the ones with a clear bullish stance.
The reason is simple: being long-term bullish on BTC is the ultimate politically correct stance. Bulls can be wrong many times, but time will eventually bail them out. Bears, on the other hand, only need to be wrong a few times to get laughed out of the game, while bulls can be wrong ten times and still have believers.
So, when you see someone on CT willing to risk losing followers to issue a bearish warning, at the very least, it's worth seriously considering their logic.
