ICE has no authority to engage a US citizen in a traffic matter unless they have verbally ordered them under arrest for a crime - which they did not.
Even if they had, NONE of that justifies a shooting. It justifies an ARREST.
Unlike the movies, it is ILLEGAL in 99% of situations to fire at a suspect in a fleeing vehicle, and it is not ICE’s responsibility to apprehend a fleeing suspect.
They are *REQUIRED* to refer such matters to local police.
So no: “Just enforcing the law” does not justify shooting an American citizen.(Adam Cochran (adamscochran.eth))
