[JPMorgan to Launch JPM Coin on the Canton Network] JPMorgan's blockchain and digital payments division, Kinexys, is launching JPM Coin (JPMD) on the Canton Network, a permissionless Layer 1 network designed for institutional finance. This will be the second network for JPM Coin, following its launch on the Ethereum Layer 2 network supported by Coinbase in November 2025.
