Previously, Manus was acquired for $2 billion, and a large group of people in China were overjoyed.
But after Manus distanced itself from China, the country started an investigation into Manus.
I remember around 2018, when Binance first went overseas, China also issued a similar verbal warning to Binance.
In the end, Binance rooted itself in Dubai and quickly grew into a giant overseas.
This investigation by China is really just a verbal warning.
As long as the founder has the determination of 'I’m not planning to come back,' this verbal warning doesn’t mean much.
After all, the company has already been split, and most of the tech has been moved to Singapore and overseas.
I honestly don’t know what they can do to sanction it?
