According to Reuters, UK bank Barclays has invested in the US stablecoin settlement company Ubyx. This marks Barclays' first investment in a stablecoin-related enterprise and is part of its strategy to explore 'new forms of digital currency.' Ubyx, founded in 2025, positions itself as a stablecoin clearing system aimed at reconciling and settling stablecoins from different issuers. Barclays stated that both parties will work to advance tokenised money within a regulatory framework. Previously, Barclays had discussed the joint issuance of stablecoins pegged to G7 currencies with several banks, including Goldman Sachs and UBS. Coinbase and Galaxy Digital's venture capital arm have also invested in Ubyx. http://(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=54703
