Brian Quintenz previously served as the head of crypto policy at a16z, and his nomination for CFTC Chairman was withdrawn last year. SUI Group stated that the appointment aims to leverage Brian Quintenz's expertise in capital markets and regulatory affairs to advance SUI Treasury strategies. As of now, the SUI Group Treasury holds approximately 108 million SUI tokens. In December last year, Michael Selig succeeded as CFTC Chairman.
