Good product marketing is about ownership. Ownership of how a product is positioned before it ships, how it goes to market, how it’s distributed, and whether it actually gets adopted at scale. The best product marketers think end to end. They don’t treat GTM as a phase. They treat it as a system they’re responsible for running. We’ve reorganized the Product Marketing team at OKX around this idea. Our PMMs are expected to think comparatively, know competing products cold, and be accountable for how our products perform once they’re live. That includes building and owning the distribution channels that carry those products forward, not outsourcing that responsibility to campaigns or agencies. We’re hiring Product Marketers in the US and EU who have operated this way before.
