By 2025, USDC on Polygon is truly being used as real money. What impressed me the most this year was actually the prediction markets. On Polymarket, USDC serves as the underlying currency for betting and settlement. Money automatically flows toward the side closer to the truth, and probabilities are constantly adjusted. Many times, it reacts faster than the media. Over the year, Polymarket settled $26.8 billion using USDC on Polygon, and by the end of the year, it accounted for 65% of the total TVL in the prediction market. Then there's payments. For small transfers, USDC on Polygon is already working really well. Almost zero fees, and transfers are basically instant. This year, over 7 million wallets made more than 30 million small transfers, totaling over $1 billion. This scale is already starting to resemble everyday payments. @0xPolygon
