Continuing today’s chat about creator incentives.
A few years ago, we had a super active crypto group. Everyone in the group held a certain platform token, and it was a big amount—over a hundred people.
As we kept chatting, everyone got familiar with each other. Eventually, we started talking about all kinds of other topics every day.
I kept encouraging everyone to start their own accounts on Weibo, to see if they could build their own personal brand.
But most people were resistant to the idea to varying degrees.
Nothing to share
Just want to trade crypto, don’t want to waste energy
Posting content doesn’t make money
...
But it’s actually a very simple logic—Elon Musk posts every day, constantly reinforcing his influence. Even if it’s not for making money, there are other benefits to gain.
I started running a crypto account back in 2014. I remember talking to someone from an exchange back then, and they said, “You’re so young and already doing social media.” At the time, I didn’t think much of it, just thought I was messing around. Looking back now, it was all groundwork for the future.

If you’re seeing this post, it means there’s nothing stopping you from sharing your own content and your own understanding.
Everyone is a KOL.
