Here are ways to try and comprehend $1T: $1T is roughly: The entire annual economy of Spain or Australia and more than MA’s entire GDP for nearly 2 years. $1T pennies: Would cover every square inch of Manhattan several feet deep. If you spent $1M per day, it would take 2,740 years to spend $1T. 1 trillion seconds = 31,709 YEARS. And we are operating at a $2T deficit each year! Now think about $38T in debt.
