The root cause of the extreme rat race in the crypto industry isn't the large number of devs wanting to start projects or intense pvp. It's the privileged institutions orchestrating and mass-producing projects, taking over all potential narrative tracks from the top down, monopolizing every profitable and certain channel as much as possible, and building extreme insider trading schemes through information asymmetry. The proportion of regular users who can make money by participating is getting smaller and smaller. They can only fight over the few remaining resources and space. This pathological and intense infighting is what we call the rat race. What's scarier than the rat race is that, as of now, there doesn't seem to be a way to break out of it.
