The Biden DOJ picked people, not crimes. Let me explain – When the DOJ came to me saying I had committed campaign finance fraud for my donations to Republicans, despite the DOJ noting they knew I had no knowledge of the main FTX fraud - I asked how that could be? I shared evidence that Alameda had my loans listed as loans on their accounting ledger, I shared evidence that Alamedas lawyers had advised on the loans (as opposed to cashing out crypto) and drafted agreements. I shared evidence that I consulted external tax lawyers on the loans to ensure we were doing everything right. I shared evidence of my team of political advisors and campaign finance folks who were involved every step of the way. The Biden DOJ itself noted my net worth in the hundreds of millions of dollars – so why on earth would I be a straw donor? It doesn't even make sense. Nevertheless, the deep state prosecutors called it a “scheme” where they awarded all the Democrats a free pass of no jail time or no indictment. All evidence of my innocence was ignored. When the DOJ came to me saying I had transmitted money without proper licensing I asked how that could be? We were a foreign corporation with no US customers (this was FTX International, FTX US had the licenses). Internal and external lawyers had said we didn't need the licenses, the banks said we didn't need the licenses, hell the people who give the licenses said we could only get the licenses if we had customers in their jurisdiction - which we did not. Proving criminal intent was not even required! The Trump Justice Department has put out a policy statement to ensure that this type of lawfare doesn’t happen again, but many remain in prison under it. Even if the Biden DOJ thought there was some crime committed, why on earth would licensing be pinned only on me!? Again all evidence of my innocence was ignored. When I said I was going to take my case to trial the corrupt prosecutor Danielle Sassoon came back and said they'd drop an investigation into my pregnant wife if I pled guilty. Sassoon held herself out as an ethical representative of the U.S. JUSTICE department and has since gone further and lied about it under oath. They held a gun on my wife while she was pregnant – both literally and figuratively. I finally capitulated to make sure those dearest to me would be unharmed and because I refused to tell lies they wanted me to. But Sassoon sought to destroy my wife anyway, and our family, even after I was served with a 7.5 year sentence by Judge Kaplan. Biden's DOJ went to extreme lengths to bury and ignore exculpatory evidence and silence witnesses. You don’t do that if you have a strong case. You don't threaten people’s loved ones to force guilty pleas. You don't fail to indict other people who you claim are more involved in the fabricated crimes. You don’t play politics. You don’t coerce testimony. You don’t lie. You don’t renege on the deals you make. The DOJ is not supposed to operate like this in America. I tried to save my family from the monsters under Bidens corrupt justice system that I thought only existed in banana republics. I may be in prison, but I hold my head high! Happy New Year!
