In 2025, they turned ZK proofs—previously considered slow, expensive, overly complex, and difficult to implement—into something instant, affordable, and developer-friendly. This allowed them to expand to 6 chains, providing ZK proof security for over $4 billion in assets, solidifying their role as a key infrastructure for Ethereum now and in the future. ◎ Speed: Succinct SP1 successfully verified 99.7% of Ethereum blocks within 12 seconds, achieving real-time validation of Ethereum L1 blocks. This makes ZK proofs practically viable for real-world applications. ◎ Cost: It now costs only a few tens of thousands of dollars to build a real-time ZK proof validator for Ethereum L1 blocks. Additionally, a single ZK verification using Succinct SP1 costs just 0.2 PROVE, which is $0.08. The low usage and verification costs make ZK proofs economically feasible for large-scale applications. ◎ Applications: With just a few lines of code, ZK verification can be easily integrated into products/protocols. Currently, 6 chains are using Succinct SP1, generating over 6 million proofs and securing more than $4 billion in assets. Looking ahead to 2026, Succinct plans to expand beyond the crypto space, targeting governments, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 companies.
