According to calculations, the added value of national cultural and related industries in 2024 was 6.2094 trillion yuan, accounting for 4.61% of the gross domestic product (GDP), an increase of 0.02 percentage points from the previous year. By industry, in 2024, the added value of the cultural services industry was 4.3256 trillion yuan, accounting for 69.7% of the added value of cultural and related industries, an increase of 0.5 percentage points from the previous year; the added value of the cultural manufacturing industry was 1.2607 trillion yuan, accounting for 20.3%, a decrease of 0.2 percentage points from the previous year; and the added value of the cultural wholesale and retail industry was 623.1 billion yuan, accounting for 10.0%, a decrease of 0.3 percentage points from the previous year.
