On the sidelines of the inaugural World Sports Summit, organised by the Dubai Sports Council and attended by over 1,500 sports stars and leaders from around the world, I met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino and witnessed the signing of an agreement to launch the “Dubai-FIFA Global Award.” I also honoured the winners of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Sports Award. I am proud of the Summit team, which embodies Dubai’s vision of sport as a universal language that unites people across the globe and inspires generations.(Hamdan bin Mohammed)
