The individual was convicted of accepting approximately 920 million KRW worth of cryptocurrency from suspected North Korean hackers and assisting in accessing active-duty military officers to obtain military secrets. The officer involved was sentenced to 10 years in prison and fined for leaking classified information. The report states that the hackers are suspected to be affiliated with North Korea's Reconnaissance General Bureau's "Bureau 110." This crime is on another level.
