According to a report by *The Dong-A Ilbo*, South Korea's Supreme Court has confirmed a 4-year prison sentence and a 4-year disqualification for a virtual asset exchange executive who accepted approximately 920 million KRW worth of crypto assets from suspected North Korean hackers and assisted in contacting active-duty officers to obtain military secrets. The officer involved was sentenced to 10 years in prison and fined for leaking classified information. The report states that the hackers are suspected to be affiliated with North Korea's Reconnaissance General Bureau "Unit 110 Research Institute."
