Everyone says Bitcoin is digital gold. Just a reminder: Gold hit a new high of $2,000 in August 2011 (some markets show $1,980, others $2,015). After that, it consolidated for 4,596 days—13 years—before truly breaking out. During this time, it dropped as low as $1,000, and while it broke above $2,000 a few times, it always pulled back by more than 20%. If even gold behaved like this, what about BTC?
Personally, I think in the long run, BTC is better than gold and more in line with modern financial needs. But expecting it to surpass $150K in the short term might be a bit optimistic. 'No pain, no gain'—if it doesn’t shake you all out first, it’s not going to skyrocket!
