Sometimes I wonder, after all this time, why hasn’t a reliable prediction market emerged on Solana? From what I remember, the prediction markets you can play with on Solana right now include Jupiter Predict, which integrates with Kalshi for on-chain exploration, PMX Trade backed by AllianceDAO, and Melee, which raised $3.5 million. However, the overall trading volume is super low, just $10-20k daily, and even the cumulative volume isn’t enough to match Polymarket’s daily numbers... Not sure if it’s because the Solana community is still more immersed in the meme trenches, or if the Solana Foundation is too busy with DAT to pay much attention. Of course, looking at it from another angle, Solana’s on-chain activity is decent, and without any local giants competing, it’s actually a good fit for Kalshi to go on-chain. But why does it seem like there’s been no news from them lately? Did a quick search of Toly’s tweets, and the last time he mentioned “prediction” was way back on November 6th. As for “Kalshi,” it’s only been mentioned twice in the past few months...
