Why is everyone into trading contracts these days?
When you buy spot, you always think about holding long-term. When you’re making money, you fantasize about making even more. When it drops, you hold on, thinking it’ll bounce back eventually. It’s easy to develop a long-term mindset.
But contracts are different. When you make a little profit, you want to cash out. When you lose a bit, you want to cut your losses. It’s more of a short-term mindset.
After revisiting contracts over the past few days, I’ve realized it feels very different from 2020.
Back then, I loved going all-in, hoping for miracles and instant success. Now I understand the importance of playing it safe and steady.
With just a few hundred or thousand USDT, you can turn it into tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands, similar to the logic of playing MEME coins.
It’s like playing Texas Hold’em with Bird Bro @wanghebbf — winning hands require luck and more certain opportunities.
If you’re constantly getting liquidated and can’t figure out the direction, then going all-in isn’t for you.
Most of the time in the crypto world, it’s a sideways market. Actually, short-term thinking is more profitable.
Heavy positions are better suited for extreme market conditions or clear directional trends.
These past two days, I’ve only opened 10x positions on aster and sapien. Didn’t trade much, closed out after earning a few dozen points, and made over 2,000 USDT.
Just trying to get back into the groove. No biases, and definitely no resistance to it.
Bald head, bald head, I’m the strongest. Bald head, bald head, I’m the best.
