The fan is in Canada and also reached out to me, hoping to thank Binance and request an extension of the temporary freeze to prevent the scammer from transferring the funds further. Here’s the detailed situation: 1/ The stolen funds were converted to ETH and transferred to Binance from the blockchain. 2/ Contacted Binance customer service. 3/ Customer service was very efficient and temporarily froze the account, waiting for the police to upload the necessary documents. 4/ The Canadian police are on vacation and need to return to proceed further. 5/ The temporary freeze is already great, but the fan hopes to extend it. 6/ They will follow up with the police station to expedite the document upload.
