These poisoning attacks have become quite common. Core Wallet does its best to not show these addresses to users, but in general, don't rely on your history to recall addresses. Note that the attackers "grind" through addresses to come up with a scam address so similar to the legitimate one you used that checking the first or last few digits isn't sufficient protection.
