I spent some time specifically checking out this super long email on the Bitcoin mailing list. In short, the proposer *hopes* to freeze all Bitcoin dust transactions below 1000 satoshis and ban them from being sent in the future, aiming to reduce the ledger size. First, it's targeting those who do dust attacks (thanks to the BCH gang back in the day), and second, it's aimed at those playing around with inscriptions. Greg and I basically share the same opinion, so I’ll just directly quote his sharp critique , which roughly says: 1. Minimal impact, won’t reduce much ledger size; 2. Freezing someone else’s Bitcoin is theft. 3. You could’ve explained this in a few sentences, but instead, you used AI to write this massive chunk. Verdict: Discussing this is a complete waste of time.
