Beware of Phishing Attacks: Never Copy-Paste Transaction Addresses Directly, Whale Loses $50M USDT!

Guys, stop copying addresses directly from your recent transactions for transfers... Here's another painful lesson today: a whale/institution lost $50M USDT to a phishing attack with a similar address.
10 hours ago, they withdrew $50M USDT from Binance and tested the address they planned to transfer to with a $50 USDT transaction. Here's the key part: the phisher generated an address with the same first and last 3 characters and sent them 0.005 USDT. When they made the official transfer, they likely copied the address directly from the recent transaction history, and the entire $50M USDT ended up in the phisher's similar address...
The phisher quickly converted the $50M USDT into DAI (to avoid freezing) and then used it to buy 16,624 ETH. All the ETH was then laundered through Tornado.
