ngl, after building open-source products @nofx_official for years, this is the first time I’m actually disappointed A project that raised $17M and is live on Binance, @ChainOpera_AI, should probably have more respect for open source, innovation & basic norms. But on their testnet, we saw them deploy a month old version of our Nofx AI trading OS. UI? Only moved logos. Code? Completely unchanged. Our Nofx brand still in the code. Homepage copy? Identical. And zero contact with us If this was just for testing, our public version works perfectly. Not sure why they felt the need to tweak the UI & swap logos, then deploy as their own. Meanwhile, our system has been iterating fast this past month — integrated with 7 exchanges (Binance, Hyperliquid, Lighter, OKX, Bitget…) and our new version is live. Copying a month-old version? Kinda sad. We tried DMing the team first. No reply? Then we’ll publicly share the receipts. We fully support the crypto open-source spirit & AGPL: using, deploying, improving should come with transparency, attribution & respect — not copy-paste. I believe investors like @IDGCapital @FinalityCap @RoadCapMgmt @ABCEDLabs @ambergroup_io would also expect teams they back to follow the basics. We’re a tiny 12 person team, working 16+ hrs/day. Nofx is our cherished open-source product. We want everyone to generate AI-based quant strategies using natural language. Still open to collabs with teams that respect tech, open source & others’ work. Actively seeking high quality collabs & funding opportunities.
